LAHERTE FRÈRES CHAMPAGNE ROSÉ - Wine Nexus

The Rosé de Meunière is a blend of 30% macerated Meunier, 60% white wine
(immediately pressed Meunier) and 10% still red Meunier fermented in a mix of vats,
foudre and barrels with a portion completing malo-lactic. Wonderfully fresh and
fragrant with floral notes of iris and peony mixed in with notes of ripe plums, spices, wet
stones and a whiff of chalk. The medium to full-bodied palate has electrifying acid freshness lighting up plush red fruit and mineral notes on the long finish. Disgorged March 2021 and finished with a 2.5 grams per liter dosage.
