Leading our events and classes is Michael Eigen (level 3 WSET, diploma candidate), who brings a unique approach to teaching wine. Employing methods drawn from his background in stand up comedy and improv, he creates lively, informative and fun interactive events that are educational without being stuffy.

Having taught (literally) hundreds of classes, Michael knows how to tailor an event for the group to insure that it meets the needs of the attendees.

His favorite example of a unique experience is a joint wine tasting he did with the head of the humanities department from Stanford University (yeah, that Stanford) that delved into the importance of wine during the Roman Empire.
