CHATEAU GUILLEBOT PLAISANCE BORDEAUX BLANC 2023 750ml

Although primarily know fro red wines, Bordeaux does, in fact, make some great whites. These primarily come from the area in between the rivers called Entre de Mer. They are usually sauvignon blanc or sauvignon blanc lended with a grape called semillon, which is the case here. This is a beautifully elegant, well balanced wine that is meant to be enjoyed every day. The semillon (20% of the blend) acts to soften and enhance the citrus and floral flavors of the sauvignon which makes this seem like a much more expensive wine.
